v5.0 NEW!Part 1 – Part 2 – Part 3 – Part 4 – Part 5 – Part 6

Update

Today, Media Create reported that over 12 000 units of the two Super Mario Maker Wii U bundles were sold during the first four days in Japan. Therefore, they are the main reason Wii U sales were on the rise this week. Unsurprisingly, they expect them to keep selling on the long term, and especially during the holiday period.

As for Super Mario Maker, its sell-through is 56.03%, which means that Nintendo shipped 246 729 units to retailers for launch week.

Also, we added the rest of the Top 50: you will find it below! Nexus 2 free mac.

Only two games came out at retail during Week 37 in Japan, and one of them is Super Mario Maker. It sold over 138 000 units during the first four days, which is significantly better than most other Wii U games (including first-party titles, with the exception of Splatoon, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U).

Free software poka poka airu village english patch notes

According to Famitsu, around 60-80% of all units sent to retailers were sold during the first week, which is a pretty good performance. Besides, Super Mario Maker is the kind of game that should sell over long periods, and it should do especially well during the holiday season. One thing's guaranteed: retailers will not have to try hard to sell the remaining stocks, and more.

The second entry of the week is Monster Hunter Diary: Poka-Poka Airou Village DX, which had a rather decent debut (though worse than the two original versions, on PSP). It almost sold 60 000 units during the first four days, which is a 40-60% sell-through according to Famitsu. It will be interesting to see how well the game will sell during the upcoming weeks: will it follow the same sales trajectory as Animal Crossing: New Leaf?

Unfortunately, there isn't much to note in the rest of the chart, as Week 37 was rather calm in Japan. We have Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, which sold over 700 000 units, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer with over 1 million units at retail, or Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire with almost 2.7 million units at retail.

There's also two games making their comeback in the Top 20 (due to the very low sales of any game that isn't in the Top 10): Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in #19, and Yoshi's Woolly World in #20. Unfortunately, they should leave the Top 20 pretty quickly.

Hardware-wise, the launch of Super Mario Maker and the two Wii U bundles had a rather positive effect on Wii U sales: they went from 10 232 units sold during Week 36 to 20 891 during Week 37. The Wii U also performed significantly better compared to the same week last year, but unfortunately, it would be quite surprising if sales didn't drop sharply in the upcoming weeks and months, due to the rather barren line-up for the console…

As for the Nintendo 3DS, sales are down Week on Week, with 'only' 27 829 units sold. This is worse than during Week 37 last year, but nothing too surprising: during the remaining months of the year, comparions with 2014 will not be too pretty… The only exception might be the few weeks just before the launch of the New Nintendo 3DS in 2014 (late September / early October), but it certainly will not last very long.
